1.
CAMILLE O! Camille: I wouldn't trade you in for a meal. Put on your sweater and we'll go outside. We'll be together. O! Camille: I wouldn't trade you in for a meal. We'll go wherever side by side. Put on your sweater.
2.
JEANETTE I drew our hearts in a circle, hoping in time the earth will fossilize our love beneath the ground. Maybe time will seal me and compact us in the shale. The diagenesis was incomplete. “Jeanette, please say you will...” “It might be Archean...” What’s left lies in separate museums, but the centerpiece display is the wreck of you and me.
3.
HOLLY The ocean lies beyond the sea wall; I could hear the waves from where we lay in the back of the Cadillac hearse with my arms around you. Too little, too late. I took a bite of dynamite and watched the world explode —cosmic forces drew me in, pulled me inside your eyes. Holly ... slowly, Holly ... hold me Holly molders slowly...
4.
LINES It may not seem familiar, but I can assure you this was once your home. You might not catch the stars tonight, or have a chance to walk the beach alone. The townie boys are hammered, stumbling down busy avenues. Have you seen the new development? They're going to build a shopping mall here soon... My, how you've grown, my friend... Straight lines never end. It means more to me than life to see your face again.
5.
CEREN, CHOOSE One road leads to paradise, the other one brings you down. Tell me babe, which do you want? Come, come tell me right now. You know what’s good for you. It’s not worth your while. Your man in the corner don’t want your love, but he don’t have a love like mine. You gotta choose your side. Choose tonight! I swear I know you better and he don’t treat you kind. Unpack your things, just give it one more try. Oh (!) darling, you gotta choose your side. Choose tonight! Or take me to the prairie’s edge. Throw me to them wolves. Let ‘em lick my bones. I don’t want to leave yours. La la la la la la la la Hmmmm, mmmm, mmmm, etc. You gotta choose your side. Choose!
6.
WEGA “Over land and over sea...” By the banks, I watch you weep. I watch you weave silk fabrics that spill across the sea. I watch you weep... By these banks, I watched you leave. “Holder of secrets, keeper of sericulture.” It’s what I aspire to, though there’s nothing left to do. There’s nothing I’d rather do than to stay with you. It’s all I aspire to, but it's all lies.
7.
JACOBSON I am burnt out; I am angry, I am restless. Grab me what I can before I pass. Oh, I've been knocking 'round these streets like they're all shadows. Through these hours of my waking indecision, I've been coming 'round to blow my every "one chance." I've been catching myself speeding through this slow dance.

Goldhügel 03:35
GOLDHÜGEL All my best intentions have eroded into rubble and dust, like all the time I spent with you. I thought that things might work out, but dreams don't pan out in the end. All my best intentions were ignited in the hot sun and burned up right before my eyes. The hills rise in the distance, but I will never reach them on my own.
9.
NEWTON Chelsea ran away from her little town of gray. O! the mountains and the plains! She's fed up by this place. If she runs away, I hope she'll take me too. I think it's still a wonderful place, but every time I see what's right on my backyard practically... I see how quickly open distance can become rigid, huge buildings.
10.
When you leave, I go to my garden to spy on the moon, then creepy through cold halls of loneliness narrow and refused, when I reach the lake of heartache I crumple on the shore, then I watch the flowers of despair floating in full bloom, and I think of nothing and nothing and nothing but you.
